Got to be someones fault and I think Mr. Mark Singer was the one who posted about this sander doing such a great job---I know it was months ago but it takes me awhile. Anyway they had them at the show --a whole $10.00 discount which is better than nothing since it was recommended so highly.
This is just one of several things I had to have,

Very nice! On my list!!

You'll want to acquire a lot more finer grit abrasives, too...I power sand up through 400-600 sometimes.

Looks great great Gary. I generally power sand to 400 and then hand sand 600 to 1000 if I feel it needs it.

I am having a hard time with the inside of bowls that have a lot of shape.
Just not getting the smoothness I want-- I figured using 80 and 120 for that would work out ok. The outside surface I run out to 400 and most of that I do on the lathe by hand. I found a company in Jeffersonsville In. that has a heck of a price on the disk I think I paid $10.00 a hundred. They have a full line of grits.

That's really a shame Mark, but you're probably good for it.;) :) Congrats Gary.
