Not too long ago, I posted a request for someone with a laser engraver. Well, in true Creeker fashion, I had 2 good people step up and offer to help. I got the first engraving from Barbara Buhse. This is the result of our efforts.

The second engraving cam from Bruce Volden, and is just as incredible. I framed it and took it to Iowa with me last weekend where I had all of the members of Newf.Net sign the back.

I want to thank both of you for helping me with this project. I've received emails from him telling me how much of a surprise it was, and how much it was appreciated. I coulldn't have done it without you two! Thank you again.

and think I might try something like that. I lost my 14.5 year constant companion, Rolex, a yellow Lab on July 12 last year.

Nice box work.

Excellent... Very impressive craftsmanship and the laser work adds to the personal touch. What a great gift. Creekers are good.

Beautiful little box, well done. What type woods are you using around the perimeter edges- Crotch Mahogany or figure Eucalyptus? Well done!

The box is mahogany and maple. The picture frame is some nicely figured cherry I had laying around.
