I am looking at 2 different Kodak camera's because I already have & like their product & my camera is damaged they will give me a discount on trade in straight from Kodak. I am looking at the Z760 6.1 MP as seen here

http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-locale=en_US&pq-path=6770

& the P850 5.1 MP as seen here

http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=7391&pq-pf&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=1862

Both are reconditioned.

These are my 2 choices & I really want to stay with this brand. The little DX6340 has done just fine for me but if I can get a break on price I though I would like to up grade.

Any thoughts on these 2 camera's?

Also what about the printer dock? I was thinking it would be easier for the LOML to use.

I don't know anything about the Kodak brand of cameras.
That being said - go for the one with the more optical zoom. The P850 you had there has a 12X optical - that is great!

I borrowed my parents digital camera before I got mine. Their's had a 10x zoom and when I went shopping I got a great deal on one that had a 5x - I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I was wrong - I really miss having the bigger zoom range.

Oh - and ignore the "digital zoom" - don't ever use it - you can always crop and enlarge your photo later on the PC much better than the camera can.

We have had the 850 for about 2 years. A great camera! Takes a fair amount of abuse and hasn't let us down yet. Paid a lot more 2 years ago, but would buy another even at that price.

Bart:
I have a DX 7630 , Which from the specs. is probably last years version of that Z760, looks the same and is also a 6.1 mp. Never had a problem, and even for normaly tech. challanged me, it and it's menue is easy to operate.
