My Vet gave me a 4" jointer sold by Sears, kinda a cute little thing..
Anyway I got it cleaned up and would like to put blades (2) on it, but Sears says they don't have any.
I might be able to sharpen the original blades, but would like to pick up a new set anyway.

Model is 149.236220, and I think its either 4 1/8 or 4 1/2" but at work now and can't remember.
Usually the first three numbers in their models tell who made it, but I can't figure out who 149 would be.

Anybody??

According to my list, Sears items 149.... are made by AMT, whoever that is. But I think you are better off just looking for generic blades of the correct size. Jointer blades are normally just flat pieces of steel, no special grooves or holes.

AMT might be American Machine and Tool?
But thanks, I have a class at Woodcraft tomm and will bring the old blades along.
