Question about cocobolo....

I had a larger chuck of cocobolo to cut up into blanks. It was the typical orange/red color. After I cut it up into pen sized blanks, the inside appears to be a grayish color... no orange red brown etc. Is this typical and will the color return or............

Yup, thats normal.

IF you wait a few eeks it will turn orange/red, have fun with it!
