I was pretty shocked when I read the post. I actually have volume one that is pretty old, but quite good. As far as pin firstian? Come on Alan, as charming as Mr. Frid may have been, I doubt he can sway me easily. I look forward to reading this one. Thanks.

Not that I was even close to seeing this in time but since I picked up that book not long ago anyway I guess I'm not too disappointed to have missed this prize. I have to say that the compilation is a great resource for a broad range of woodworking basics. Happy reading Steve.
