Stopped by the HD by my house on the way home from work. Now I have a pretty good idea why we've been seeing the good deals.
The have a complete end cap with a display for the new tool line. This is what I remember seeing:
12, 14.4, 18.8 VDC drills, may also have a hammer drill
3/8, 1/2 corded drills
5, 6" ROS
1/4 sheet palm sander
4" grinder
Circular saw
Dual battery chagere
Recipicating saw
Probably some more, but this is what I remember. I noticed the 12 matches the torque of the Dewalt 12 XRP and is $129, so comparing to Lowes they would be about $40 less.
The tools I looked at seem to be pretty well built, I wonder who is making them for Ridgid.
Anyway, just thought I would share.
