Support in Canada

Hi, my name is Sean & I have just joined the 'creek'
I am in the process of deciding which unit to purchase. I am looking at the epilog helix as so far they appear to be one of the few companies with Canadian distributors offering support. I have spoken with numerous US distributors and sales reps, and the majority are telling me I am on my own to have a unit shipped to Canada, but they will offer some phone support.

Any suggestions on purchasing a laser engraver in Canada capable of rastering on granite tiles & wood ? I am looking for a unit (hopefully under $20,000) that will help me get going in the business so in time I can purchase a larger unit such as CAMTech L20.

Also I am looking for input on how successful people have been on etching images that cover multiple 12" x 12" tiles with a smaller unit using corel draw?

There appear to be 3 local distributors for Epilog in Canada,
and their mini 24 should suit your immediate needs at that
kind of price. I'd suggest the highest wattage that suits
your budget.

Depending on where you are in Canada, There are several very good distributors in Canada that not only handle the sales but also the support.

http://www.canadianengravers.com/ is one if you are on the east side of Canada.

Mark & cut Sales is another one on the Western side of Canada.

I am not sure who you spoke with but there are several good companies in Canada.
