Good day

My first shop vac.

The “filter” is kind of plastic cloth that you can buy in the gardening department, you can wash it and reuse it many times.

It can “eat” anything, we use it even to clean the car.
The build in bag is collecting only the small particles of dust.
I check the "filter" from time to time, wash it and replace it.

i wonder if it would have been cheaper to just buy a shop vac... some of them are like 50 bucks...

very nice job, while you are at it see if you can convert that into a cyclone vac!

Interesting idea! I already have a shop vac, but am wondering if the addition of your box and filter sheet might make it easier to dump the sawdust etc. and save on expensive filter bags. Keep up the great tutorials!

Thank you for the kind replies

Eddie
The cloth “filter” stops most of the dust and only the very fine dust will go to the main filter (the bag), it saves me a lot of bags and the container is at my selected size.
