Had a few spare minutes so grabbed myself a piece of ash and started the spinner! Here's the result - about 3 1/2" tall, 2 1/2" at the widest and 1 1/8" at the base. Minimal sanding with 220 grit, finished with wax. It did not take long, unfortunately, to walk out in the "lawn" and find an appropriate "flower".

Barry,
I really like the shape. Been going to try my hand at "weed" pots for some time.
Just so you don't feel more fortunate than others, we have the same type of "flowers" here in Washington.
Again, really like the shape, nice and clean.

That's cool Barry, I like that. I would never guess it isn't any bigger round than that! Congrats and nice job.

The universal weed... I've got a half dozen in my front yard at least.

Nice job on the weed pot. They're fun to turn and quick.

Looks good, Barry. I'd think anything that blooms in Alaska would be considered a flower, since it'll only be around for a few months. ;)

Is it at all tippy?

Nope, it is pretty solid. Thanks for the kind words all!

I know how to get rid of those dandelions. Try to grow them.

Barry, I really like that piece...the form is great. It will also work at just about any size you wanted, too. Nice!
