Built this Armoire a cpl of years ago for my wife. Walnut with raised panel flipper doors, dovetail drawers, tablesaw coved bonnet. Alcohol Dyed, Shellac sealed, 3 coats spray lacquer finish. My design, such as it is (was). [ATTACH]40789]

Wow Jim, that is one heck of an Armoire! I can't let the LOML see this one, nope no way. :) Seriously, it's beautiful, very well done.

You guys are really making me camera shy, I'm not about to show my work yet - I'll be banned either way... :o

Jim, that looks like a hefty (and beautiful) piece of furniture. I love the walnut, and you did a great job with it.

One of the best pieces I've seen, Jim. What a wonderful gift. Have you made other pieces in the same style? Pics and details?

Just awesome!

Truly outstanding. The grain in the wood is beautiful and really raises the value of the piece IMHO.

Truly a "Grand" piece, I love the grain in the doors and drawers.

The color is what strikes me first. If that is even close to being true to life, that is a really attractive color. The cove detail bottom, middle and top is a unique look as well. Nice job.

Really nice piece. Maybe you will inspire me to finish the one that has been sitting in the garage for the past two years.

Actually, the top has a TV in it. Guess that shows how lazy I really am.
