Hi, We have a Mercury LaserPro machine and I'm trying too cut through 10mm acryl in one shot..My settings are

2.3 speed 100 power 600DPI and Raised the Table 1-2mm but still can't get throug in one shot...

Can someone help me..

I manage too get through, Just changed the speed... (Jackass:D )

Hi Chris;
It helps to kick your dpi up to near the max when doing acrylic-as you figured out, slower speed also helps.

It actually doesnt matter (well sort of) what power you have , your depth of focus or power density of the beam isnt enough , it looks like an hourglass and the std lens makes it diverge a lot , looks like this :X You need a 4" lens for this with a far more power density in the part the beam cuts with . The 4" beam looks more like this )( than X
O2 Air Assist might help tho but its a mission to install. Try with higher ordinary air assist pressure and up your PPI to the max.
