The UPS truck showed up today with my new Byrd cutterhead from
Wilke. Wasted no time installing it, and planed up a couple boards.
Man was I pleased. The boards I planed were not straight grained, they
were the poor quality I cut from the crick here on the farm. And what
lines are you guys talking about? To my old 55 year old eyes, they look
as smooth as you can get. Jim

What planer did you put this on? My next big ticket items are going to be a jointer and a planer, I'd like to get them with the Byrd's already on.

I put it on my 10" Oliver jointer. Wish I had bought it with it on. Now I need to look at an 18" for my planer. Bought it from Wilke, they gave me
the best price. Was 697.50 incl freight. Jim
