Hermes Machine

I am talking with someone who has a Hermes Vanguard Laser 2001 machine. It is about 7 years old and looks to be in good condtion, currently in service.

Anyone know anything about this model machine? Good - bad or otherwise. I tried a web search but haven't come up with anything. It is not made any more is all I have found out.

That system was manufactured by Universal Laser systems. They can and will still support them.

When I looked into the later Hermes machines they were run by their own software, unlike most which use Corel or other graphics programs. I'd for sure get a price for a new tube so you'll know what to expect if it does go out on one that age.
