Thanks for your kind words..I have the luxury of turning anything I want to at any time or nothing at all...I had no intention of turning a walking stick as I started to the shop. A cousin had dropped off some cedar and mentioned that he would like to try to turn a walking stick out of some of it...When I walked by the cedar, it occured to me that I had never turned one......So, something different and keeps me busy. Thanks again, doug
