I just printed out a great pic from Bob Lasley, showing how he made a jig for routing small parts. Naturally, I also printed out all the responses to his post too.

Is there a way to just print out the original post with the pic??

Help a dummy !

Thanks,

Don't know if there's anything easier...but this is what I did...
Highlighted the post...
hit ctrl/c... or right click and copy (= copy)
went to Word... (in a blank page) but you can a program of choice
hit ctrl/v... or right click and paste (= paste)
That does it for me.

Hi Rick,

You should be able to highlight with your mouse just the post (or portion of post) that you want to print. You'll see the stuff you selected turn shaded. Then press Ctrl-P to open the Print box. THEN (the key) check off "Selection" in the Print Range box (on my Windows XP, this is in the lower left of the print box). Then click Print. It should print exactly what you highlighted.

If you have a Mac, I have no idea if this works or not.

Rick -

Yet another option. Right click on the picture you want. Choose print from the menu that comes up. You won't get the accompanying text, just the picture.

Rick,

Why waste your printer cartridge ink and paper. The way I do it if there is a picture I want to use some time I simply right click on the picture and select "Save picture as" A box will come up where you can select what folder on your computer you want to store the pic (re: My Pictures, etc). Click "save" and you have the pic where you can look at whenever you want --- NO PAPER. Computer files are much easier to keep up with than paper files.
If necessary you can print later if you want a copy to take to the shop

Rick,
It should be noted that what I did was give you what you asked for (Is there a way to just print out the original post with the pic??) AND allows you to save it to a file or print it.

All the other suggestions are good if you want to just save or print the picture.
