The Oak Man strikes again. Looks good to me Chris, but is there something specific that you're not sure of or not exactly happy with?

I don't know how you guys normally finish a NE or maybe there is no norm. This was just a test from a little flat leftover cutoff. I've wanted to do the one youy gave me but was afraid to mess it up.

Nice job of keeping the bark intact. Great piece.

I'd be estatic if I could get one to turn out like that Christopher! I think it is great "as is". Now do one just like it BIGGER!!!!!

Chris, I think it's a nice little bowl! Quick question: Is this a rough turning, or is it a finish-turned piece? If you are later going to re-chuck it, I would tend to think that a thinner bowl wall would make the piece appear less bulky. Otherwise, I think that a well-executed small bowl such as the one you have made shows as much skill as a large bowl---just in different ways!

Quick question: Is this a rough turning, or is it a finish-turned piece? This is finished with just Danish oil. I will try a bigger one now that I have a better feel for the NE. Thanks everyone.:)
