Last one of these thing with corners for awhile: just way too much hand-sanding required.

Very nice Lee! I've been meaning to try one of them! Your signature looks great! Is it burned in?

Your signature looks great! Is it burned in?Laser, AKA "photonic branding iron".
That was the high-tech part of doing this piece. The low-tech extreme was using duct-tape to hold it on a jam chuck while I turned the bottom.

I was going to say something about your writing skills but now I cannot.
What font?
I like the turning. I have not done any squares yet.

Very nice, Lee! I'm sorry to hear that we won't be seeing more propellers from you for a while, though. :(

Lee,
Your doing a great job of expanding your horizon. Your turning progress is amazing. I'm very impressed at your progress into the vortex. You have truly been assimilated.
I just wish I had the time to catch up to you. In other words.
NICE job on this and your hollowform/bowl thingie.

Nice job Lee. I heard of these being turned round and then cut square and the edges sanded. You started with a square piece though... right? Seems like it would be hard to keep the corners in tact.

Great job Lee. You don't sand it while it is on the lathe...
