Maple Box

Got this in a trade from Dennis... it is Maple and was marked "BLM", so I'm assuming Big Leaf... (I am not a detective, but I have seen a Holiday Inn Express commercial before)

2-1/2" x 2-1/2"... sanded thru 600... French's Mustard wiped on finish just for Andy...

EDIT: Added a second pic... the pic shows some pretty nasty end grain there around the lip... it doesn't look that bad "live", but I guess the stinkin' camera don't lie... :o :(

Pretty cool, Mark. I don't know what kind of wood it is but a maple seems a reasonable choice. I like the form and the finish....Keep 'em coming!

Wow....I like the form on this one too Mark!!!! Very nice. I gotta come by there one night and just sit and watch the box making. You are doing very fine work on that box turning stuff fer sure...:D
