Cherry burl platter. 14 1/2's and sporting the rustic look. This is the last of some found cherry burl. I'm probley going to fill the voids with coffe grinds and CA so I can use my new vacuum chuck to finish the foot. I kinda like It like it is but I'm not sure if the vacuum will be enough to hold it tight. You guys think duct tape will do the job? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance! Kurt

Kurt - Try some of that shrink wrap stuff from an Office Despot type place. A five inch wide $6 roll lasts forever and does all sorts of magic with awkward pieces on a vac.

In the meantime - sure is nice!

Another awesome platter Kurt! I've had good luck using blue painter's tape to cover holes from the outside when using the vac chuck.;)

I sure would like to see that one up close and personal. There is just too much going on for a picture to tell. Thats a real beauty.
