Sort of semi-segmented, semi-laminated, semi-hollowform, semi-weedpot.

About 5"x1-5/8". Poplar and walnut mostly, with some bits of cherry and canarywood in the segmented ring.

WOW Lee, that is really nice looking. I like the way you did the different types of wood and the ring. Very nice job, and for the first one...

Amazing, Lee! Absolutely amazing! That is a unique form, and the wood selections you've used in the laminations just set the whole thing off!

Lee,
What an eye you have, and what a chisel you apply to spinning wood.

Very nice semi-all-the-aforementioned.

I am beginning to see just how very dangerous is the combination of artist and engineer in a retired guy with a lathe.

Very cool HF!

For a bunch of semi-somethings that thing is completely awesome! Very well done, sir!

I gotta run now, for some reason I feel like watching E.T......:D

Laminated, segmented and indubitably a Lee original. Lee, looks great. You need to go ahead and bite the bullet and go deeper into the abyss and commit yourself to segmented turnings. You are heading that way anyway....:p :D
