Granite Bonsai Pots?

Lately there's been interest among bonsai artists in granite pots. Some guy in Germany is making them with a diamond cutter on a CNC, but with the price of the pots and then international shipping it's not affordable for people in the US. This might be something for you CNC people to try, and market to bonsai nurseries. Something like this:

Looks like another Corian application, right Keith?

Couldn't you cut an inlay for the side, engrave it, heat it and insert into a routed recess? Either that or add a contrasting band around the edge... with an engraved motto, of course.
