Interesting Info For Akeda Owners

I talked to my local Woodcraft store today. They informed me that Whiteside has started to make Akeda style bits. I called Whiteside directly and was told that the Akeda bits are available.

The other interesting bit of info is that the Akeda is not in the newest Woodcraft catalog (according to the woodcraft person I spoke to), hopefully this is due to a lack of inventory because of the fire in the building next door to Akeda's facility.

Thanks for the info. After hearing about the fire, my only real concern was a source of supply for replacement bits - the jig and template fingers should last indefinitely. It's nice to know that Whiteside is making them. Dave.
