That bear attack happened fairly near to us. Apparently it was a captive bear, not a wild one so it was used to being around people. They are not sure why it attacked the lady, but it is now dead and the authorities are talking to the owner who accidently turned it loose. I would guess a lawsuit will follow if not criminal charges.
