Turned this using one of Ruth Niles SS stoppers. It African blackwood and maple. Will probably go to my SIL who is a big pool player.

Thanks for the comments, they are greatly appreciated.

The eight was burned in with a razertip woodburning tip. It came out OK, but being my own worse critic, it could have been better.

I may try some more of these using the different numbers but I think I'm going to wait and see what the reaction is after my SIL shows it to his pool buddies.

Bobby, you're going to have more orders than you can count. Better put a price point on those things now so when the SIL's friends, and then their friends, come knocking at your door you'll know what to tell them.

In other words, I think you did a lovely job.
