I have limited space for my shop and have a table that I use for assembly on rollers. surface area is 4' by4'.
I am now installing a router lift for an Incra LS fence system.
I looked at the Festool 1080 table and like it but do not want to have another table that takes more room, what size re the clamp holes so I can bore them to make my own table, use the festool clamps and make the table tri functional saving valuable room.??
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the Festool MFT holes are 20 mm.

I just measured mine with calipers and the holes are, indeed, 20 milimetres in diameter.

Dave and Franks are correct- 20 mm.

I was considering doing the same thing. However, if you want to attach the guide the same way the MFT does, then it may make more sense to just get the MFT. The cost and work involved make it very difficult. I would just get the MFT, and then colapse the legs and use in on top of your other table and/or put it away folded when not in use.

If your top is thicker than 3/4", the Festool clamps, at least the shorter L type metal ones, may not clear the table top. I am guessing that the top is not thicker since you are installing a router.
