Thanks to John Hart, another box is born. Still trying to get the hang of the end grain hollowing with the sorby. Also used a 1/2" scraper. The scraper cut much better than the sorby. I'm not sure why it's not cutting right. Anyway, thanks John!

The way the grain of that wood continues up thru the interruptions on the lid is really nice!
Wonderful to see, and the fine parting line as well!

Chris, you have progressed far and fast on turning boxes. Keep practicing and all will be well. This is another good looking box.:D
