I just ordered a Shop Fox W1711EXT table saw and was hoping someone could tell me the correct dimenions for the fence rails and fence tube in relation to the left side of the saw.

I'm building a custom mobile base and before I cut the long rails for the base I want to be sure they're the right length.

Anyone have one of these saws? If so, I would really appreciate the lengths. Actually what would help would be to know the length/distance that the fence rails extend beyond the right side of the extension table.

The online manual states the rails are six foot long and the tube as being 84 inches, yet when I look in the manual it shows a picture of the tube being mounted about 2-1/2" inside the left wing, yet the overall width of the saw still stays 84"?

I'm hoping to make the base such that the right side (edge of the base) ends directly under the fence rail. Does the make sense?

Thanks,

Larry

Specsheet on Grizzly: http://images.grizzly.com/grizzlycom/specsheets/g1023slx_ds.pdfBeen there done that. The spec sheets only shows overall dimensions. :(

I'm trying to figure out where the rails end on the right side. The fence tube extends beyond the rails and I don't need/want to make the base the long.

Near as I can tell, the rails end about 3" past the end of the extension table, (or if measured from the left wing to the end of the rail it would be 77"?) but this is only a guess.

Thanks,

Larry
