Theme
"Michigan's Great Outdoors"
ECHO Caving Series Qualifier
Chainsaw carvers will compete for 14,500 in cash and thousands of dollars in prizes over five days of astonishing and unbelievable expressions in this art form. There will be an auction of the quick carve carvings every evening at 5:30 pm
Conservation organizations of southern Michigan will also be displaying and providing information on the usage of natural resources. Scheduled lecturers, on a number of different topics with Q&A sessions afterwards will be held noon- 7pm Friday and Saturday, noon to 5 pm on Sunday. How we use our natural resources and the urban wood of cities will be hot topics of this Conservation expo.
Artisian will also provide demo of woodturning, furniture making, basket weaving, chainsaw carving, portable sawmilling, instrument making, log furnitnure making and log home constructions. All exhibitors will have items for sale. We are marrying the concept of education, information and entertainment to provide the public with this extraordinary event.
