A little vase from a cutoff. It's 3.75" x 7.25". Finished with waterlux. Has some faint curl in it. The collar is ebonized cherry and I rounded this one. Thanks for looking.

Ernie

I really need to set up a photo booth.:o

Just love everything about it Ernie. I keep telling Travis that Walnut is some great wood (smells good, too).

The form is sleek and elegant and the finish looks really good to me.

This is an example of fine workmanship Ernie. This piece shows good design with the perfect flowing curves providing a pleasing asthetic picture for the mind. The rounded collar is just right for the beautiful walnut wood. Thanks for letting us view this elegant piece.

Gorgeous!
You're gonna make some lady very happy!!

Regards,
Tim B.

BTW, thanks for posting the dimensions. It looked like something MUCH larger and I was thinking that was a fortune in walnut. And FWIW, I've been taking pictures with a dark blue towel as a backdrop and like the look.

Thank you very much everyone. Your comments are especially nice to read on this one as it is going to a special lady. LOML had a close cousin pass last week, and last night, Mary's 85 year young aunt, the mother of the same cousin passed away also. This aunt (Aunt June) was special to me as well. We poked fun at each other and were huge nickel poker rivals. Anyway, we are headed out to Ozona, TX tomorrow. We were told not to bring or send fresh flowers because once there, they are drying up fast, so we will get a few artificial and put them in this vase for the sole survivor of this branch of the family.

Thanks again, Ernie

Wow Ernie, everything about that is purty, the wood, the shape, the collar, and especially the small foot.
