Seemed to be some people (me included) who thought the wings on my "hubcap spinner" were too wavy. Here's (more or less) the same form, done in 8/4 curly walnut, 5" point-to-point, 1-3/4" tall:

What with all the hand-sanding (not to mention flinching :p ), these take about twice as long to make as a regular bowl the same size. Fun, though...in a masochistic sort of way.:cool:

I particularly like the wavy one, but I like this one too. Looks like it could kill.

Looks like you have to be fast when sanding that one. The simplist miscue could be rough on the knuckles. Great work!
