Some pens I finished last week. Cigar kits, wood is from MIL's weeping cherry.

Thanks. The photograhpy is luck. I was only a quick pic on my desk at work with my groups digicam.

Weeping cherry cuts much the same as regular cherry, only with the peice that the pens same from there is often punkyness, small knots, and cracks that needed stabilzation with CA.

Finish the Mylands Cellulose Sanding sealer and Mylands friction polish. Wood was sanded with micromesh to 12k and then EEE Ultra Shine.

The form is something I keep repeating from the first cigar pen I turned. I like it as do others. These were all actually customer pens. Nice to make some side cash to finance the hobby.
