Does anybody know where you can buy bits for a yankee style push drill. This is the kind that has the little dimple (for the lack of a better desc.) on the side to lock them in place. The drill is handy around the shop and over the years mine are all lost or broken

Larry, Highland Hardware has bits made by Schroder that they say will fit the Yankee screwdrivers.

I got a set of spares on *bay really cheap. You might need to track some auctions for a while though.

Larry, some older hardware stores may have some left from an earlier time, the ones I found came as a set in a little clear plastic tube with a black screw on cap. You just have to ask at the stores.

Thanks Jim your idea worked. I not only got a full set of bits but also a fairly cheap drill.
