View Full Version : Spalted Bloodwood Vase

Sunday is computor clean up day and I ran across this photo from about a year or so ago. This was one of my favorites and wish I had not sold it. It was made of Bloodwood limb stock that the sap wood was spalted. As you can see we had to part it in the center to hollow it out. It was at least 20 inches tall if I remember right.

Love the form and the contrast between the sap wood and heart is dramatic. I have never seen any sap wood on a piece of bloodwood. You are making us all jealous.
