Small BE Hollow Form

I finished up this little box elder hollow form today. It is 6-1/2" x 5-1/2" and is finished with Watco, a light buffing with Carnuoba wax and finished off with a couple coats of Renaissance Wax.

This little thing took longer then the big one's do.

Dick that little HF is, indeed, gorgeous! There is just enough grain in it without being overpowering. What kind of wood is collar?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments on this HF, it was fun to make and I like the way it came out. I also forgot to mention that I got it nice and thin and it only weighs less then 4 oz.

Sorry I forgot to mention the collar, it is made from Padauk.

Keith that was a chunk of bark/inclusion that came off from the inside out and because there were such jagged edges on it, I sanded them smooth.
