David, your draw is :here's a piece of spalted hickory. Been around
for a while; just band-sawed it round to remove some yuck, and
intentionally left it a tad larger than your specs since it'll likely
crack somewhat. I'm storing it in the alky bath to also mitigate that
from happening. The wood has provenance and a history throughout the
creek since last November. Currently sits about 10" in diameter and
seven inches tall

David, you may keep this wood or steal from the previous blanks revealed. Tell us what you want to do. (Stealing means you can switch your draw for anyone elses that has been revealed. Once a drawn blank has been stolen 3 times it can not be stolen again.) The number before the name is the number of times stolen.

Steal choices are:

We have been having problems with links going dead in these posts. I have repaired them in this final post again. Let me know if there are further problems. Thanks for your patience.

After a week of rain, yes, that afternoon on the roof was well spent. I just wish that project was over! Maybe this summer I'll lose the last of those attract blue tarps.

Andy's right - what goes around, comes around. While I'm tempted to steal and cause mayhem, I think I'll trust in providence and keep this piece.

Onward into the vortex ...
