Andy, your draw is :
It is a piece of a branch from a native Texas pecan tree from my parents ranch. The tree is very old, no telling how long it has been on the land. The ranch is in Texas, between Shiner and Yoakum. One side of the piece is slanted so it looks bigger than it is. In reality, it is about 7" long and roughly 6.5" in diameter. Pecan is pretty light colored with a dark section in the center of the log. The wood is hard and really takes a nice edge right off the tool. The wood is very green and was anchorsealed immediately after cutting it. In the past I have rough turned it, given it the DNA treatment, let it dry 14 days and then finished it and it has done great.(See Pic) From Holly Jones

Andy, you may keep this wood or steal from the previous blanks revealed. Tell us what you want to do. (Stealing means you can switch your draw for anyone elses that has been revealed. Once a drawn blank has been stolen 3 times it can not be stolen again.) The number before the name is the number of times stolen.

Steal choices are:

In honor of my cousin Holly W. who is a wizard with pecan pie, I've decided to latch onto Holly J's piece o' Pecan.

And any fool who tries to steal it will suffer the full wrath of the current weather system here in the northeast.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Oh - and by the way Mr. Bartlex.......:D
