This just builds on the post of generosity that Ken posted, at every
turners meeting I attend there is always a free wood trailer for
needy turners....ME!...Someone always brings something for the
group. TURNERS ARE GENEROUS PEOPLE!

Wow, that's a real nice looking wagon of wood. :eek: Nice feature for your meetings as well. We don't have pecan up here in the Northeast. Lots of Hickory, a relative, but it cracks and splits like mad.:(

I agree that turners are a most generous bunch.:D

Hey Mike could you just hook that trailer up and make some rounds with it? Ya know around Kansas.:D :D That is great that they do that. I got some cherry and some maple that I am sending home from here in Richmond, Virginia. This is from a clockmaking friend of mine. He is cutting some lumber for drying and then building clocks.

I only took 2 large chunks, the largest pieces are still left on the trailer.
I'll be working for the club in Victoria this weekend so if any SMCer will
be near Victoria & needs some Pecan let me know.
