This is my second Cherry NE Bowl. My first Black Cherry posted a couple of weeks ago was much easier to turn for some reason. Maybe it was because the Black Cherry came from Arkansas and this Cherry came from Tennessee? This one is 9-1/2" diameter x 5-1/2" tall with 3/16" - 1/4" walls. Lost quite a bit of bark on this one but enough stayed to add some interest I think. Finished with Gel Poly and buffed. Thanks for looking.

Wow, Keith, that is just about perfectly shaped. I love the side view with the sweeping curved sides but the view from the top is also great. You have taken to this wet wood stuff like a natural. Good job!!!:D

You do know that too much exposure to denatured alcohol will make you null and void.:p

That's a beauty Keith.

I'm curious, is that from a half log and how big around was the log to start with. It has a nice deep shape to it.
