Hello all,
I have a pal who's old boss has a double arm bevel gauge.
He used to use it but now he wants one of his own.
Is it possible to buy such a thing?,I have never seen one!
Thanks in advance.

Bridge City makes a 2-arm type but it's a different type than the Starrett.
They're currently out of them but the model nbr is TB-4.
Cant get a direct link to their item page to work so I lifted the pic from their website

I don't have a double bevel square, but I did make myself a 16 inch blade bevel square with a brass blade and walnut root body, unfortunately its in the bottom tool chest in the trailer and inaccesable now. But I did find this fuzzy picture of it tho.

I did make a 24 inch bevel square to use in my Blacksmith shop with an aluminum body and stainless steel blade.

laying closed beside a framing square for size evaluations.

a partially open view.

I don't know about the Starrett but Bridge City's alternate name for their TB-4 is 'Complementary Angle Guage'. The idea is you can get both the measured and the complementary angle from the gauge setting.

Brilliant Doug.
Chum will be as pleased as punch.
He makes windows and doors and found this very useful, don't ask me how.
I told him if you can still get one,you will find it in the good old USA and I know just the lads to find it.
I never cease to be amazed by the net.
Thank you all.:)
