Very nice, Jack, looks like you have been buy. That wood has some real character with the wholes, figure and knots. Great looking finish too!

Super Bowl! I really like the voids in this wood and the way you turned to take advantage of them. Beautiful finish too.

Now that is definitely interesting! That wood sure has a lot of stuff going on in it. Very nice bowl!

Wow...Busy guy there, Jack! :D Lookin' good. Almost looks like one could about dive right into the piece. Care to share your finishing routine on your pieces? :) :cool:

Yeah Bob it would be a very messy desert night! As to the finish well I just took Zissner(spelling?)shellac and thinned it by half and just kept slopping it on, seems like 5 coats is where I said enough already! Finishing is one of those great divine mysteries that every once in a while works out for me:rolleyes: Thanks for the kind words everyone!:)
