I made a coat rack for my wife for her office. It is make from black ash and is 6' tall and 2' in diameter. It was a real challenge to turn. I had to turn it in 3 sections. They all are tenoned together. The legs are dovetailed to the post.

Very nice! I like the way you matched the angle of the grain on the legs – I’d have never thought of that until it was too late…
