Hi everyone,

I'm planning on making a lamp for my baby's room. My plan is to have the base be a box with a safari animal cutout on each side. I'll put a different piece of stained glass behind each one. I would like to make it a three way lamp that you can turn the main bulb on or have a smaller bulb inside come on as a night light, hence the stained glass.

Does anyone know where I can get the hardware for doing this?

Thanks,

Tim

Home Depot or Lowes has most parts needed for lamps. If that doesn't work, Nationalartcraft.com is where I buy lamp parts in bulk.

Do you have Hobby Lobby's in your part of the world? Or any arts craft type store of any size should carry them

I made a couple of floor lamps last year and used parts from:

Any double-throw, center-off switch would work to turn on either, or neither lamp. Radio Shack would have such toggle switches, maybe even the big boxes.
