I finaly got to get a little turning in this weekend. Been real busy getting the house ready to sell and haven't had any shop time in several weeks. I glued up some hard maple and walnut and turned this little guy yesterday. It is sanded to 600 and finished with some BLO and wipe on poly. It's 5" x 2 1/2". Sorry about the poor quality picture. I am still getting used to the new camaera. I'll try and take another and post it on this thread.
Hope you enjoy.

Don that is a fantastic job. I am going to start a couple of those when I get back. I like doing the glue ups. I love the form and finish.

I believe I've seen metal oil lamps in this form from way back in the day.
Nice job Don.

Nice job on the lamp Don! I've got about 30 or so of those lamps
left over from last year. Someone started a thread about confetti
lamps and I went to wally world and bought a bunch on sale for .30
a piece, turned about 5 and set the rest on a shelf somewhere.
