And another! How about giving dimensions of the items, I would like to know the scale of what you are doing.

Well I turn on a OneWay 1018 lathe, so my maximum diameter is 10 inches. This vase is tall, about 14-16 inches. The diameter at the top was about 7.5 inches. I tend to do hollow vessels and boxes, so I don't need a large diameter lathe. I do have a bed extension on the lathe so My max length is 36 inches. peace.
