Finished up this curly maple bowl today, wasn't sure as it was pretty warped after the DNA. It ended up 13-3/4" x 2" x 3/16" and was finished on the Beall buffer.

Dick that is some nice work. I like the fit and finish. I have a maple bowl drying and I hope it turns out as nice as this one.

Dick, when does a bowl become a platter? No matter, shallow bowl or deep platter this is a fine looking form and a nice piece of work.;)

Dick, when does a bowl become a platter? No matter, shallow bowl or deep platter this is a fine looking form and a nice piece of work.;)
This could be a platterized bowl... or a bowlerized platter.
Another nice one Dick. I like the way you did your pic too.
