View Full Version : Cherry & Honey Locust

Well here are a couple of boxes I finished today. The first 2 pictures is cherry and it is for my granddaughter for her confirmation we are going to next week. The other 3 pictures are honey locust and is for the other granddaughter. Both finished with EEE, friction polish and both will have 3 coats of lacquer. The cherry one is 3" T and 3 1/2" W. The honey locust is 4 1/2" T and 2 1/2" W. The honey locust I tried something I had never tried before. I burned some lines into it. I really like the way it turned out.

Thanks. I appreicate the nice comments. These are by far the best I have did. The lids have that nice little pop when you take them off and they are smooth without a mark.

Hey Bruce, its a big rifle. Funny part is I just start turning and out comes a form. I don't really go out with a plan. I just start and the hands take over.

Well I got to accelerate John. I have a long way to go to catch up to Big Mike. If he would just quit raising the bar every other day I could.
