View Full Version : Movement after assembly

I assembled some of the carcass boxes for my kitchen wall cabinets and let them sit for a while before attaching the backs and face frames. On two of them, they seemed to have moved slightly (about a 1/16th on a 37" diagonal). With light pressure from a clamp, it moves back to square. Do I need to worry about this spring back after attaching the face frame? The frame is only 1 3/4" maple. Or will attaching of the cabinets to the walls and other cabinets make up for this?

Carcasses shouldn't move back after the back is attached.
The backs are the last thing I attach.
Even if they are off that 1/16th after completely assembled, I wouldn't worry about it.
