A couple pens made yesterday *PIC*

I turned a couple pens yesterday to help build my inventory for an upcoming craft show. Bloodwood, Padauk, Bocote, Cocobola, Beech, Cherry. Have about 25 more blanks prepped for turning which I hope to start on today and finish tomorrow.

As always, very nice Pens Ken! I'm with David on this one...........if that is a couple, I would like to see a bunch! Makes me wonder about having a "couple" of Beers with ya sometime............now THAT should be good time! :D

I would guess you probably had those couple of pens turned before breakfast yesterday. I sure hope you had other projects to keep you busy at least til lunch time. As always great looking pens.

Ken told me at the 5 Barns picnic that he never spends more than four hours a day in his workshop.

I count 19 pens in Ken's picture times ten minutes per pen (Kens production rate) equals 3.1 hours...well under Kens four hour daily limit.

Ken gave me one of his pens a couple of months ago, its a real beauty.

Nice work Ken, I envy your productivity. Both here on the Creek and back on the old Pond you've posted pictures of your pens. Inquiring minds want to know if you've kept track of either the exact or an estimate of the total number of pens you've turned? I've got to believe it runs to a least a couple of thousand.

I noticed that some of your pens have a diagonal bias to the grain. Was that on purpose or did you luck out with your blanks?

Ken, it's now tomorrow. Did you get your other pens finished?? From my watching your posts both here and back at the pond, you seem to make quite a lot of these. I presume that they sell well for you. If you don't mind sharing, what do you get for them? I'm curious as to at what level the market responds favoritively.
