Casptured Ring Tools

A week or so ago Stu and Bernie ask me to post some pics of my home made captured ring tools. As you can see you need one for the right side and one for the left sice. They are made out of Allen wrenches and I use the long handeled ones. I shaepen them first with the grinder and then finishe them with the Dremel tool. If I make them again I will make the make them stick out of the handle at least one more inch. I hope this helps someone if not and you need more information let me know.

Ron....could you photograph those against a light or white background please! It would make it easier to steal your design!

So it looks like you're using the curve of wrench to your advantage. Do you have a problem with them trying to catch, or spin in your hand?

Thanks Ron. I think I get the idea. A lighter background would help but think I got the gist of it. I am just not sure how the sharpen the ends.
